The proof is within the doofuses
By J Barber
All you would like to try and do is browse the one-star reviews to visualize why you ought to browse this book. we tend to get told by one reviewer that it's "inaccurate," but, SURPRISE, no actual examples. Another reviewer thinks he has an example of a blunder when he says Woods calls Jefferson a Republican, when he was a Democrat. Why i'm even bothering to reply to such an idiotic misunderstanding I don't understand, however Jefferson was a Democratic-Republican, and his party was nearly continually known as the Republicans. No, it is not an equivalent Republican Party as nowadays, however that WAS the name of Jefferson's party. Where do these doofuses return from?
I like the criticism that Woods condemns Woodrow Wilson and his call to enter WWI. Is there anyone around still defending that decision? Hilarious. I conjointly like "Woods blames the nice Depression on liberal social programs." Woods truly blames the Federal Reserve for the nice Depression, and Hoover and FDR's interventionist policies for creating it see you later. therefore what that a zillion alternative students are currently saying an equivalent issue. To a liberal nowadays, this is often enough to create you an "extremist," in spite of the proof you've got in your favor or the credentials you'll boast.
I don't see any page on that Woods defends an abstract "right" to carry slaves. that will be an odd position for a libertarian like Woods to carry. however this is often the type of hysteria and irrationalism you'll expect once you dare, like Woods, to raise serious and vital queries. Even worse is that Woods is clearly quite ready to raise and to answer these queries. he's a Harvard Ph.D. and holds his alternative degrees from Columbia. therefore rather than rigorously answering Woods, he has to be crushed, smeared, and destroyed. that's how these enemies of the reality operate. They hate their propaganda being exposed to the sunshine.
It appears to me you've got 3 choices: you'll passively settle for the institution version of yank history, you'll actively defend that institution read, sort of a smart robot, against anyone who dares to question it, otherwise you will suppose FOR YOURSELF, and go wherever the proof takes you. Woods has over enough qualifications to guide you thru.
You can examine him at ThomasEWoods.com, though i do not understand if he blogs anywhere.
